Be Nice to Fish - Short Film

With this short film I wanted to forgo the standard shot-reverse shot sequence and make a movie that feels like a free-flowing collage.

I designed and fabricated the two hero goldfish puppets, and captured all the surreal wormhole elements practically using fabrics, ribbons, and dyes in a large water tank.

Be Nice to Fish has screened at multiple film festivals, won awards, and always generates an enthusiastic response from a crowd.

Synopsis: Two roommates fight about whether they should let the pizza delivery man use their bathroom, and the ethics of enjoying anchovy pizza in front of their new pet goldfish.
